Ukrainian ambassador to South Africa, Liubov Abravitova, says they will continue to seek global support to end the Russian aggression in Ukraine. Russia launched its full scale invasion of Ukraine more than three years ago. This comes as President Cyril Ramaphosa gears up to host his Ukrainian counterpart, President Volodymr Zelenskyy, at the Union Buildings in Pretoria on Thursday. Zelenskyy’s official visit will be the first by a head of state from Ukraine. Ramaphosa was part of the Africa Peace Initiative to Ukraine on 16th June 2023.
