The evacuation processes of the victims of heavy rains at Umlazi’s H section south of Durban continues.
So far over a hundred residents have been moved to a temporary shelter in Amanzimtoti.
This was after their homes were destroyed by the heavy rainfall during the Easter long weekend.
More than 50 houses collapsed, leaving at least 6 people injured.
Over a thousand houses were left in an inhabitable state.
