A solemn ceremony in George in the Western Cape has marked one year since the deadly building collapse in Victoria Street. Considered South Africa’s worst building disaster, 34 people lost their lives. 28 others were left injured, and some were maimed for life. The ceremony was attended by survivors and family members of the deceased.
