The historic Tokai Manor house in Cape Town which is owned by SANParks has been evacuated as a safety precaution. This as firefighting efforts to contain the blaze in the Table Mountain National Park continue between Tokai and Noordhoek in the Southern Peninsula. Four helicopters and over 100 city firefighters have been deployed and are being supported by Volunteer Wildfire Services and other agencies. A firefighter who was injured on Sunday has since been discharged from hospital.
