The family of the 24-year-old Walter Sisulu University student who was shot and killed during a student unrest in Mthatha in the Eastern Cape has expressed shock at the revelation by the court that their son was shot from the back. This was revealed during cross-examination of the 54-year-old suspect by the State on what exactly transpired on the day of the incident. Sisonke Mbolekwa and two other students were shot during the unrest.
