1. Account & Eligibility

1.1 Account Creation

  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account.

  • You agree to provide accurate and complete information during registration.

1.2 Account Suspension & Termination

  • We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate our Terms or policies.

  • You may delete your account at any time in the settings.

  • We reserve the right to remove inactive accounts after prolonged inactivity.


2. User Conduct & Content

2.1 Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Post, share, or promote hate speech, harassment, violence, or illegal activities.

  • Impersonate others or misrepresent your identity.

  • Use automated bots, scrapers, or spam tactics.

  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations.

2.2 Content Ownership & Licensing

  • You retain ownership of the content you post.

  • By posting, you grant Blue Tick a worldwide, non-exclusive license to display, distribute, and promote your content. This license remains in effect until the content is deleted from our platform. If you delete your content, the license will be revoked, except where copies have been shared with others and are still visible to them.

  • We may remove content that violates these Terms.


3. Platform Features

3.1 Posting & Interactions

  • Users can post text, images, videos, and engage in discussions.

  • Posts may be subject to moderation to maintain a safe environment.

3.2 Direct Messaging

  • Private messages should not be used for harassment, spam, or illegal activities.

  • We do not access or monitor messages unless they are reported for violations. Once a report is submitted, our moderation team reviews the flagged messages to determine if they breach our community guidelines. Review is based on the nature of the report, including potential harassment, abuse, or illegal activity.

3.3 Advertising & Monetization

  • Users may participate in monetization programs (e.g., ad revenue, tips, subscriptions).

4. Intellectual Property

  • Blue Tick retains all rights to its branding, trademarks, and software.

  • Unauthorized use of our intellectual property is prohibited.


5. Privacy & Data Protection

  • Our use of personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy.

  • We comply with GDPR, CCPA, and POPIA regulations.

  • Users have rights regarding their personal data, as outlined in our Privacy Policy.


6. Liability & Disclaimers

  • Blue Tick is provided "as is" without warranties.

  • We are not liable for user-generated content, including third-party links or embedded content shared by users.

  • We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service.


7. Dispute Resolution

  • Disputes should first be resolved through our support team.

  • If unresolved, legal action shall take place in Kroonstad, South Africa.


8. Changes to These Terms

  • We may update these Terms periodically and will notify users of significant changes via email or in-app notifications.

  • Continued use of Blue Tick after changes means you accept the revised Terms.
